This sweet fig marmalade is very easy to make at home! With its unique taste, it can be paired with cakes, muffins, bread and cheese.
Main Ingredient: fig, sugar
2 kg of well-ripened figs
1.5 kg of sugar
1 vanilla bean
1 mint stalk (mend)
1 stick of cinnamon
- You can substitute honey with honey for more flavor, but do not use large masses, as honey may overpower sweet fig taste.
- The eggplant can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 months.

Step 1At first we wash the figs with running water and place them uncut and in a pot.
Step 2Add the vanilla, mint, cinnamon, sugar and let it simmer for 2 hours at low temperature.
Step 3The next day simmer again, until the marmalade has thickened.
