Russian salad
The Russian salad recipe is one of the favorite dishes on Albanian tables, especially in the case of family celebrations or year-end holidays. This delicious fresh vegetable salad under the mayonnaise sauce fantastically accompanies other dishes on the table to enjoy with family members. You can also add other ingredients to the salad, which create new and dynamic flavors, enriching the traditional ones.

100 g boiled beans
100 g boiled peas
100 grams of boiled carrots
100 g boiled potatoes
mayonnaise
1 lemon (squeezed)
A little olive oil
salt
pepper

Step 1Wash the beans and boil for 15 minutes in a pan. Then change the water, drain the beans and put them back in the bowl with clean water to boil for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and olive oil. Take care that the bean does not deform.
Step 2Wash and clean the potatoes, put them in another pot of warm water to boil. We do the same for carrots in the same bowl.
Step 3Once they are softened, remove them from the pot and drain, along with the beans we have put in the beginning.
Step 4Put to boil the peas in the same pot of water where we had the potatoes and carrots. Take care that the pea is not deformed.
Step 5When the peas are boiled, combine them with other vegetables and legumes. Chop the potatoes and carrots into small cubes. Put all ingredients in a dish according to the quantity we want. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice and mix.
Step 6We taste the salad dressing and if necessary add salt, olive oil. Mix the ingredients again and place in the refrigerator.
